SCHOOLS WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW --- OVERVIEW The RYDA Program was initially developed in NSW in consultation with the two government departments having prime responsibility for road safety and education, vis RTA and the Department of Education and Training. It has been introduced into other States in consultation with the relevant road safety and school education authorities in particular Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania. The Program is regularly being reviewed to ensure compliance with the relevant laws and school curriculum in all States and Territories.
